monthly recap: October 2025

I’m officially back from maternity leave, and it’s been great to be back working a little bit. I’m not fully back, but being able to use my brain for non-baby things a few hours a week has been so beneficial for my mental health.

We are back baby! It feels so good to be editing and filming again, I really didn’t think I’d miss it! I’m gonna be totally honest: a lot of these videos were filmed while I was still pregnant, I just got too tired to edit them so that is the only reason I am able to have this many done for the month!

videos you may have missed:

  1. Making a Font: Pt 5 (Product Mockups)

  2. Design SVGs with me!

  3. Etsy Ads: 2 Month Results

  4. Comparing Alcohol Markers

  5. Making Product Collages in Photoshop

from the vlog channel:

  1. Reading the Highest & Lowest Rated Books on my TBR

  2. DITL with a 2 month old

a new font is here!

As my Make a Font With Me series comes to a close, I am happy to announce my latest font Coastal Sun. Inspired by the laid back vibes of California, Coastal Sun is a loose and carefree font that comes with over 60 ligatures!! It’s one of my favorite fonts I’ve ever made, and I’m so proud of myself for finishing this up!

Glorious Rivals* by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Glorious Rivals is the 2nd book in the Grandest Game trilogy, an offshoot of the Inheritance Games. Because we’ve already had so many books solving puzzles, within this world, I felt like this book was just meh. I didn’t hate my time reading it, but nothing really stood out to me.

What Kind of Paradise* by Janelle Brown: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is about a daughter who is raised in isolation with her dad. They live in a cabin in the woods, set in the 90s as the internet was being developed. I went in knowing very little about this book and ended up enjoying it! It was kind of a slow burn at the beginning, but you just keep waiting for the shoe to drop and I enjoyed how this wrapped up!
