The "why" behind the Charity Collection

The Charity Collection is here, and I'm so excited! This has been on my mind for quite some time now, and I'm glad to finally show it off to the world! 

The two charities I am donating to are The Ocean Cleanup and The National Forest Foundation. If you don't know already, 10% of all instant downloads also donate to the NFF. But I wanted to do more. 

A few months ago I got the idea to make a collection like this, and I started by drawing my little Sea Turtle. I loved him so much, I knew I needed to keep going. What you'll find in this collection is stickers, t-shirts, long sleeves, cards, and tote bags! 

I love being able to make products that bring you joy, but I also want to feel like I'm making a difference in the world. So with each product in this collection there will be a positive impact on our planet. For example, for every t-shirt or long sleeve purchased 2-3 trees will be planted. How awesome is that?! 

If you don't see something you like for yourself, the Charity Collection makes great Christmas gifts! I think it would be so special and meaningful to get a sticker, or shirt, etc., as a Christmas gift that also is giving back. 

Product overviews: 

Tote Bags: these tote bags are heavy duty and can fit a ton of stuff in it! They're perfect for grocery shopping so you don't have to use flimsy plastic bags (which hardly ever get recycled - even if you put them in the recycling bin!). 

Apparel: I designed these shirts to be mostly unisex so that whoever needs a shirt in your life will find something they like! 

Stickers: add these to your reusable water bottle, your phone case, laptop, car, notebooks – basically anywhere you want! 

Cards: each card purchased plants a new native tree, so I think this would be so fun to send randomly throughout the year! Birthdays, congrats, just because... so many great options to spread kindness!
